TASTING NOTES
Colour is summer golden. Aromas of lime peel, blossom and candied orange layer over warm butterscotch, cereal and spice. True to its Riverland home, further citrus flavours are evident on the palate, rounded out by mouth-filling nutmeg, vanilla, allspice and honey, and a lingering sweetness evocative of dessert pastries.

XXIII, the connoisseurs’ range from 23rd Street Distillery, explores rare territory with our signature adventurous spirit.
This 100% Australian Single Malt Whisky has been patiently biding its time. Australian Pale Malt, distilled in our towering twin copper pots and aged in first-fill ex-Bourbon American oak. Matured to an assertive, balanced complexity over four Riverland summers. Due to its Southern Hemisphere birth, swirl anti-clockwise in the glass to waken its slumber and unlock sensory treasures including honey, tangerine, cardamom, and brioche.
METHOD
Australian Pale Malt Barley was selected for the heart of this spirit. After fermentation the liquor was split for distillation between our historic Pot 1 & 2 Copper Stills. Matured separately in 200L first-fill ex-Bourbon American oak barrels across four Riverland summers, then masterfully blended to allow Pot 1 & Pot 2 characters to layer and harmonise.
