"Avec une légère hésitation à travailler avec la couleur, j'utilise un stylo fin sur papier avec des détails méticuleux, mon objectif étant d'attirer le spectateur pour un regard plus attentif. J'aime la simplicité et le caractère restrictif du travail en noir et blanc, car cela m'oblige à apporter quelque chose de plus à une image qui ne serait généralement pas là si une couleur avait été impliquée.
Le travail de Chrysa commence toujours comme un dessin à la plume sur papier; Celui-ci est ensuite numérisé pour créer un fichier numérique, qui peut ensuite être utilisé tel quel ou adapté pour des projets. Chrysa puise son inspiration dans la nature qui l'entoure, les vieux schémas et les textiles. La durée des pièces varie considérablement, certaines petites pièces ne prenant que quelques heures et des pièces plus grandes et plus détaillées prenant jusqu'à vingt-cinq heures de temps de dessin solide.
